Group Management Team
David served as Sales Director from September 2001- March 2013, and was appointed CEO in April 2013. Prior to joining Zycko, David held the position of Sales Manager at Comstor Ltd (1994-1999) and was instrumental in the period of rapid growth that saw sales ramp up from $50m to over $500m per annum.
Nils is one of the original founders of Zycko and served as Managing Director Zycko’s DACH operation from 2010 to 2015. Prior to his career at Zycko, Nils established a highly successful Cisco Partner which was later acquired by Datatec/Westcon. His company than became the foundation for Comstor Networks in Germany, where he held the position of the Managing Director. Additionally he was appointed as Managing Director for Logicalis Networks. He also was one of the owners of TLK Networks which was acquired by Exclusive Networks in 2012. In addition to extensive sales and management experience Nils also possesses many technical certifications i.e. CCIE and JNCIP.
David Hopper joined Zycko in April 2014, with 30 years’ experience of international supply chain development and business transformation. David’s expertise in global operations and international programme management has improved business performance and lead high value business & organisational change programmes. David holds an MSP accreditation for business transformation and is currently engaged in an Executive MBA with the Henley Business School.
Ken was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Zycko in March 2014 having previously held the position of Group Finance & Operations Director since June 2007. Prior to joining Zycko, Ken was Director at Kitbag Ltd, a leading online retailer (2005-2007) and held various head financial positions at Orange plc (2000-2005), including Head of Commercial & Financial Support.
Lee DriscollGroup Sales Director
Lee joined Zycko as Group Sales Director in September 2014 with over 20 years’ experience in distribution. Previously, Lee had held the position of Sales Director at SDG (now part of Tech Data) since 2006. Prior to SDG, Lee’s role was Sales Director at Computacenter between 1995 and 2006.
Rob ClarkGroup Technical Director
Rob joined Zycko in 2008 to take responsibility for the Hitachi technical team, quickly moving to an overall storage management role. Rob is now group technical director driving technical solutions across Zycko group. Rob joined Zycko with over 15 years’ industry experience in technical architecture and solution design, as well as having worked in transition and crisis management.
John HavillGroup Financial Controller
John joined Zycko in 2013 as Group Financial Controller and is responsible for all aspects of finance reporting within the Group. Prior to Zycko, John has accumulated 20 years group finance experience, holding senior group finance roles within a number of International Groups across varying sectors, including Telecoms and Manufacturing. John is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA) and also the Company Secretary.
Simon BuistDirector of Services
Simon joined in 2008 to start up Smartpac Support which in August 2013 was rebranded Zycko Support. Formerly part of the MBO team and Business Development Director of Apex Computers, a leading IBM, Cisco and Microsoft reseller, where he led the professional services division, he has 19 years’ experience in selling, implementing and supporting IT solutions.
Jim MorrisGroup Business Development Manager
Jim joined Zycko in 2003 and quickly moved into the newly formed storage development team. Jim became a leading senior account manager, and later managed the UK based European sales team. Jim has held a number of business development roles, and his current role is to drive projects across the Zycko Group.
Kerry WrightGroup Project Manager
Kerry joined Zycko in 2003 as part of the sales support team. Kerry has progressed within the company to Sales Support Manager, Group Sales Support Manager, Director of Group Business Operations and most recently in 2015 to Group Project Manager. Kerry is responsible for the business accreditations for ISO 9001 & 27001 & the implementation & progress of projects within the Group.
International Management Team
Patrick HeintzmannGeneral Manager, Zycko France SAS
Patrick established Zycko France in September 2006. From 1993 to 2006, Patrick held various positions with Azlan France : Account Manager, Product Manager, Product Director and then Sales Director.
Piera LocheManaging Director, Zycko Italy SRL
Piera established Zycko Italy in September 2007. Piera has worked for Algol, a primary Italian distributor, and from 1996 to 2007, Piera held various positions with Azlan Italy, latterly as Enterprise Division Director developing and supporting the Networking business into a volume distributor.
Vivian BoeManaging Director, Zycko AS
Vivian was appointed Managing Director of Zycko AS in June 2002 to establish the business in the Nordic and Scandinavian regions. Zycko AS has offices in both Norway and Sweden. Formerly, Vivian founded Input AS in 1997 and Input Memory AB in 1998 before selling both companies to iGroup ASA in 1998.
Javier LlorenteCountry Manager Iberia
Javier was appointed as Country Manager Iberia for Zycko in June 2012. Prior to joining Zycko Javier was the Iberian Sales Director for Hardware.com, having previously been UK based for the same company targeting multiple European regions. Javier’s previous background is within banking and finance based in Madrid and Brussels.
